I grew up on Lake Erie, but the winters there proved to be too much for my father and we moved to Southern California. I spent the better part of forty years there...it was truly a dramatic change from Pennsylvania’s northeast to be sure. Although Southern California was good to me, I yearned for a simpler life. Forty years of 24/7 go, go, go can take its toll on anyone and it did me. Accordingly, I relocated to the Delaware shore in 1986 and that decision resulted in positive business and personal rewards. It has given me the opportunity to enjoy the diversity of our changing seasons as well as the fast-paced seasonal excitement that the Delaware beaches offer. The colorfully brisk, clear nature of our spring and fall time periods is something which didn’t exist in Southern California, and when coupled with our stark and pristine winters and sub-tropical summers, it makes for my own little bit of heaven... truly a very special place to call home.
